We’ve been working hard on colors. For some reason, most things are red and white. Go figure — we hadn’t noticed. Despite my best efforts to describe genetics to Ariana, she’s still convinced that Ben is color blind.
Notice how we both have a banana:
Then Ben thinks…hmm…banana or Brie on cracker? Or both?
And, now notice how Daddy has no banana…
There should be no question as to how Ben ended up being so big. It’s not genetics. HE EATS ALL OF THE FOOD!

Ben doesn’t make it easy to win.
The Urbana Free Library is fantastic. The basement houses a playground (more or less) where there are trains that Ben loves to play with. This is a camera pic from our last visit.
OK, I admit, this video could use some editing. A typical snack for Ben involves peanut butter on…something. In this video it’s toast. But, make no mistake, Ben is not opposed to peanut butter on whole grain waffles for every (and I mean every) breakfast. Make sure to stick it out to the end to get Ben’s take on the daily news.
