The first book we read to Ben was Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Now he can read it to us!
Occasionally Ben sees Daddy juggling, and he is obsessed with learning how to do so himself. It never goes well…
Here is Ariana with a copy of her book! Two weeks ago we threw a gigantic book and tenure party for Ariana. That party involved a lot of people (including Ben’s aunt Larisa) and champagne, but, unfortunately, we did not snap any photos.
Believe it or not: Ben’s new favorite food are sardines! I think this is the result sardines always being deployed in a little tin and the weird combination of Italian and English DNA that he and I share.
This is a favorite book of Ben’s, and a gift from a favorite teacher at school.

Yes, this is ultra-cool, and, yes, I have pre-ordered my copy.
Have you?

Ben loved these two big bunnies he received from his Traill relatives for Easter.

Ben likes reading to himself now. Definitely cute, and, oh boy, don’t try to take the book away while he’s in the middle of it.
“Dancing” to the Chieftans…
We’ve been working hard on colors. For some reason, most things are red and white. Go figure — we hadn’t noticed. Despite my best efforts to describe genetics to Ariana, she’s still convinced that Ben is color blind.
Notice how we both have a banana:
Then Ben thinks…hmm…banana or Brie on cracker? Or both?
And, now notice how Daddy has no banana…
There should be no question as to how Ben ended up being so big. It’s not genetics. HE EATS ALL OF THE FOOD!
