Ben loves this old story. Everytime we see a train he looks for the caboose on the end! This video is a little long, but totally adorable.

I know—it’s been a long time since we posted anything. We’ll try to do better.
One of Ben’s favorite stories these days is the Big, Bad Wolf. Guess which character he likes to play…
Tonight we went to Ben’s first high school football team. Ben loves the marching band, and wanted to sit as close to them as possible. Actually, the best part of the game was the band. Urbana was down 0-14 when we left.
If only this wasn’t such a gruesome song, it would be much cuter.
The first book we read to Ben was Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Now he can read it to us!
Occasionally Ben sees Daddy juggling, and he is obsessed with learning how to do so himself. It never goes well…
Here is Ariana with a copy of her book! Two weeks ago we threw a gigantic book and tenure party for Ariana. That party involved a lot of people (including Ben’s aunt Larisa) and champagne, but, unfortunately, we did not snap any photos.
Believe it or not: Ben’s new favorite food are sardines! I think this is the result sardines always being deployed in a little tin and the weird combination of Italian and English DNA that he and I share.
This is a favorite book of Ben’s, and a gift from a favorite teacher at school.
